More Than a Vacation Rental
Sunrise Cove offers more than a place to stay on Siesta Key. We care for our community year-round for the residents, owners, and guests who call it home — whether for a month, a season, or a lifetime.
Our shared amenities are available to residents and registered rental guests regardless of which Sunrise Cove condominium you choose. Secure FOB access is required for designated common areas, and two FOBs are provided to rental guests for use during their stay.

Pools
No matter which building you stay in during your waterfront vacation on Siesta Key, you are only steps away from a gated, heated swimming pool. Grab a book from our community library, find your favorite lounge chair, and spend the afternoon overlooking Sarasota Bay while enjoying the Florida sunshine.
40-Foot Heated Pool
For days when you prefer a quieter, more private atmosphere away from the activity of our main waterfront pool, Sunrise Cove offers a 40-foot heated pool conveniently located between Buildings 3 and 4. Tucked into a more intimate area of the community, this smaller pool is perfect for a peaceful afternoon swim, relaxing with a book, or simply enjoying the Florida sunshine at a slower pace. During the cooler months, the pool is gas heated to approximately 86°F, allowing residents and guests to continue enjoying one of their favorite Siesta Key activities even when temperatures begin to drop.
The pool area includes six lounge chairs for sunbathing and relaxing, along with a table and four chairs beneath an umbrella for those who prefer a little shade.
Whether you’re looking for a quiet morning swim or an uncrowded place to unwind after a day exploring Siesta Key Beach, our smaller heated pool offers a peaceful alternative just steps from your condo.
70-Foot Heated Lap Pool
One of the signature amenities at Sunrise Cove is our 70-foot temperature-controlled lap pool overlooking Sarasota Bay. Multiple geothermal heaters help maintain the pool at approximately 86°F year-round, making it an inviting place to swim during every season. Around the pool, residents and guests can enjoy 35 lounge chairs, providing plenty of space to stretch out, relax, and enjoy the waterfront setting.
Our covered poolside cabana includes five tables with seating for four, offering a shaded place to gather, enjoy lunch, play a game, or take a break from the sun. Men’s and women’s restrooms with sinks are conveniently located within the cabana area, along with a cold-water dispenser. Two additional tables with umbrellas are located around the pool deck, giving you even more places to sit and enjoy the view.
Whether you’re swimming laps in the morning, cooling off after exploring Siesta Key Beach, or simply watching the light move across Sarasota Bay, the waterfront pool is one of the easiest ways to slow down and enjoy life at Sunrise Cove.
Tennis & Pickleball Courts
Stay active during your Siesta Key vacation on our fully resurfaced private courts, available year-round exclusively to Sunrise Cove residents and registered guests.
Our court complex includes two tennis courts and four pickleball courts, giving players of all skill levels plenty of space to enjoy one of the most popular outdoor activities in Siesta Key.
Whether you’re joining one of our seasonal round-robin groups, reserving a court with friends, or simply practicing your swing, our courts offer an easy way to stay active without ever leaving the Sunrise Cove community.
Seasonal Court Lighting
During sea turtle season, March 1 through October 31, the tennis court lights are disabled in accordance with seasonal lighting restrictions. The courts remain available during daylight hours throughout this period.
Round-Robin Tennis & Pickleball
Players of all skill levels are welcome to join our seasonal round-robin tennis and pickleball groups. These casual group sessions are a great way to meet other members of the Sunrise Cove community while enjoying some friendly competition.

Our seasonal pickleball round-robin begins on the first Monday in November and continues through the last Friday in April.

Grilling and Picnic Areas
Few things feel more like a Florida vacation than enjoying a meal beside the water.
Directly behind our large pool cabana, Sunrise Cove’s primary grilling and picnic area overlooks Sarasota Bay, offering sweeping waterfront views just steps from the seawall. It’s the perfect place to gather with family and friends, enjoy an outdoor meal, or simply sit back and watch life move across the bay.
For those who enjoy fishing, the experience can begin right at the seawall. Cast a line, clean your catch, and take it straight to the grill for a truly fresh waterfront dinner — all without leaving the property.
Waterfront Grilling
Our grilling area features two gas grills connected directly to permanent gas lines, so there is no need to worry about propane tanks running empty in the middle of dinner. The grills are maintained daily for the convenience of our residents and guests.
The picnic area includes:
- Three large picnic tables seating up to eight guests each
- Two additional picnic tables seating up to six guests each
Because of the strong breezes that can come across Sarasota Bay, umbrellas are not provided in this waterfront area.
Keep an Eye on the Bay
Dinner may not be the only thing worth watching. The waters surrounding Sunrise Cove are home to an incredible variety of Florida wildlife, and guests frequently spot dolphins and manatees moving through Sarasota Bay. Seahorses have even been discovered around our waterfront, while countless coastal and migratory birds can be seen throughout the property.

South Grill Area
For residents and guests looking for a more intimate place to enjoy an outdoor meal closer to their condo, our South Grill Area offers a relaxed setting at the southern end of the property, directly in front of Building 4.
This second grilling area features two propane-operated grills, maintained daily for resident and guest use, along with two picnic tables with shade umbrellas for a more comfortable dining experience.
Conveniently located just steps from nearby units, the South Grill Area makes it easy to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner outdoors without venturing far from home.

Sunrise Cove offers 49 boat slips along our seawall, conveniently located directly in front of our waterfront vacation condominiums. For guests staying in the community, that means being able to walk from your condo to your boat and head out onto the water with ease.
Slip sizes range from approximately 10′ x 24′ to 18′ x 45′, allowing us to accommodate a variety of vessels. Whether you’re heading out for a quiet morning of fishing in a Boston Whaler or preparing for a longer day on the water aboard a larger vessel, Sunrise Cove offers convenient dock access right from the property.
For boating enthusiasts, having your vessel steps from your vacation rental makes it even easier to enjoy some of the most memorable activities in Siesta Key, from fishing and cruising to simply spending the day exploring the surrounding waterways.
Boat Slip Requirements
Sunrise Cove provides the boat slip only. Boaters are responsible for supplying all equipment necessary to properly secure and protect their vessel, including appropriate ropes, lines, and bumpers.
Each boat slip rental requires:
- A signed boat slip lease
- Current vessel registration
- Proof of insurance
Boat owners must also be prepared to remove their vessel from the water when required in the event of a named storm expected to impact our area.
Because slip sizes and availability vary, guests planning to bring a boat should confirm that an appropriate slip is available before arrival.

Kayak Launch
Located directly in front of our kayak storage racks, Sunrise Cove has its own dedicated kayak launch into Sarasota Bay. From the launch, paddlers can follow the shoreline past our large waterfront pool, continue along the seawall, and make their way toward Midnight Pass and Turtle Beach.
For those looking for a longer adventure, you can continue north along the coastline as Turtle Beach transitions toward the world-famous sands of Siesta Key Beach.
Few activities in Siesta Key give you the same opportunity to slow down, explore the shoreline, and experience Sarasota Bay from water level.
Kayak & SUP Storage
Sunrise Cove offers 40 kayak storage slips exclusively for condominium owners at an annual rate of $100.
Many of our storage slips can accommodate two kayaks, so owners are encouraged to consider sharing a slip whenever possible. Space is limited, and shared storage helps us make this amenity available to more members of the community.
Kayak storage slips are reserved for Sunrise Cove owners and are not available for lease to non-owner residents or rental guests.
Kayaking and SUP for Residents
Although limited storage space prevents us from accommodating personally owned kayaks and paddleboards for rental guests on the property, we still want everyone staying at Sunrise Cove to have the opportunity to enjoy Sarasota Bay.
That’s why guests can simply walk next door to Murph’s Surf, conveniently located beside Turtle’s Restaurant.
Through our local partnership, Sunrise Cove residents and guests can enjoy discounted access to kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and guided adventures on Sarasota Bay.
Single-person kayak and SUP rentals are available starting at approximately $35, with equipment provided so you can simply arrive and begin your adventure.

At Sunrise Cove, fellowship and community have always been an important part of who we are.

Board & Association Meetings
Our clubhouse is also the gathering place for Sunrise Cove’s Board and Association meetings, helping owners and residents stay informed about what is happening throughout the community. Monthly Board meetings may be attended onsite in the clubhouse or remotely through Zoom, making it convenient to hear community updates and stay connected wherever you are.
Annual Association meetings and meetings involving membership voting are also held in the clubhouse. We encourage owners to participate, stay informed, ask questions, and take an active role in the community. Eligible Association members may cast their votes during meetings where official voting takes place.
More than simply an event space, the Sunrise Cove clubhouse is a place to gather, celebrate, connect, and participate in the community we call home.
